How Do You Monetize Your Web Site?If ANY page you publish on the web does NOT make money for you, why bother having it there?Look closely at EVERY page on your web site/s and ask yourself the following questions:
The vast majority of the pages only had ONE monetization method (and on my sites, it is mainly Google's Adsense program). However, before I chuck some other money making schemes onto those pages, I better make sure (by testing) that I don't cut Google's throat in doing it... And I better check out these new Adsense Decoded Videos because I might just learn something new that will boost my Adsense revenue... But you shouldn't just rely on ONE stream of income. The reality is that you should have SEVERAL methods for making money from each page a visitor sees. Take for example this site - the Work @ Home Business Toolbox... You'll see on the right hand side and bottom of practically every page, Google Adsense advertisements. Generally, these have worked quite well for me in the past, so there is no reason not to include them on this site - especially in the home business niche as it should pay well! However, I have included other methods of monetizing my pages. and they are mainly to do with the products that are featured on the LEFT hand side of practically every page. Several of these products I earn commissions from sales of affiliate products. I review/advertise hand-picked products from a range of vendors suitable for the work from home industry. I also have a range of Private Label Products which I have purchased rights for to resell to you - and keep 100% of the sales I make. On the review pages which don't specifically promote a product, you'll probably find a link or reference to another site that I run... so in that case, I'm using it to generate traffic by linking to that site. Not actually dollars in the bank, but I still benefit because I DO keep my visitor in my little network. So each page on this site not only provides useful content to my visitors (needed to attract you here in the first place from the search engines, or encourage you to keep coming back) but also works at making money for me. The only real problems I have to keep an eye on are:
So... how financial are your pages? Are they doing the job or do they need a little tweaking? More Information: So what was the purpose of THIS page? Well - apart from introducing the monetizing concept to you, it made you take notice of my Google ads and product ads! It also linked to several important articles that you need to know about... specifically: Affiliate marketing and Private Label Products along with the Adsense Decoded Videos which might make a difference to your success on the internet. |
